Batch Processing feature for bulk updating SIMs now available

We are excited to announce a new batch processing feature to the Soracom User Console, making it easy to repeat actions for large numbers of SIMs, such as activation and tag management.

Previously, if you needed to update more than 100 SIMs, the most direct method was to write your own Python, NodeJS, shell, or other script using the Soracom API. While powerful, scripting takes time and effort to set up.

Now with the batch processing feature, you can simply upload a CSV file containing the SIMs and parameters you want to update, and perform bulk updates right from the User Console.

Key Features

  • Supports large updates: Process up to 10,000 SIMs at once to save time on repetitive tasks.
  • No code required: Prepare a CSV using a spreadsheet editor like Excel and upload it to the User Console.
  • Flexible CSV handling: Select which columns to use directly in the User Console, reducing the need to manually modify CSV files.

For detailed instructions, refer to the Batch Processing documentation.

If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to share them with us here. We look forward to enhancing the capabilities of this new feature.
