We would like to inform customers that support for TLS (Transport Layer Security) v1.0 and v1.1 on the Soracom API will end on March 31, 2025.

TLS v1.0 and v1.1 are outdated encryption protocols with known security vulnerabilities. As part of our efforts to enhance security and comply with the latest security standards, accessing the Soracom API will require TLS v1.2 or later once support has ended.

We kindly ask all customers to check whether the systems and libraries you use to access the Soracom API are compatible with TLS v1.2 or later, and to update or reconfigure them as necessary. Although we are providing ample time to prepare for this change, we strongly recommend customers to take action as soon as possible.
