International SMS (sent from Japan to overseas carriers) on Soracom Air for Cellular plan-D (with SMS functionality) previously had no usage limit. Starting April 1, 2026, a monthly usage limit of 20,000 JPY (excluding tax) will be applied.

• plan-D IoT SIMs with SMS functionality
• Automatically applied to all existing and newly activated lines

Details

• Once international SMS usage reaches 20,000 JPY (excluding tax) per month, international SMS sending will be disabled for the remainder of the month
• The usage limit is set per line and cannot be changed
