Soracom Flux Webhook action now supports Google Service Account authentication

Soracom Flux is an IoT automation service that helps improve operations by combining processes such as notifications and generative AI-based analysis using IoT data collected from sensors, cameras, and other devices. With Soracom Flux, you can process various inputs with rules and actions, send webhooks to external services based on the results, and notify team members by Slack or email.

The Soracom Flux Webhook action now supports authentication using Google Cloud Service Accounts (Google Service Account authentication). By registering a Service Account JSON key in the Credential Store, you can send webhooks to Google APIs accessible by the Service Account, such as Google Sheets.

Previously, you could connect to Google APIs from the Webhook action by using the Bearer Token (JWT) authentication method. However, you had to configure the JWT claims and scopes yourself. With Google Service Account authentication, you only need to register the Service Account JSON key, and Soracom Flux automatically obtains the access token required by the target Google API.

For details, refer to Webhook Action (Japanese) and Add Rows to Google Sheets (Japanese). If you have any questions, please contact Soracom Support.
